These people think they are important and doing important work. Thus, they must never apologize for anything or they might be forced to recognize that they aren’t really doing much more than jerking it on the internet. Which is fine. That is basically all I do anyway. The difference is that I recognize that my silly little world is completely unimportant and still remember that apologies make everything better.

Some clown over at Pharyngula is trying to change the subject from Ben to Martin Luther King. His line: now that we all agree how bad plagiarism is, when are we going to stop celebrating a holiday for MLK, who also plagiarized.

As if MLK, who had feet of clay, is any way, EVAR, comparable to Ben, who is MADE of clay.

I hesitate to use the word ‘crypto-racist’ very often. But … crypto-racist.

Merciful God, I was just kidding when I said in the previous comment that the conservatives say about folks like Ben that at least he didn’t kill anyone. What of course is telling in all this is that when right-wing wankers like Ben get caught with both hands in the frigging cookie jar, other RWWs line up to say, aw, it’s not that bad, at least he didn’t kill somebody or something. Conversely, when a left wing wanker does the same thing, we liberals don’t try to defend the wanker (not that we should) while the conservatives pile on the left wing wanker as if he/she had just had non-consensual sex with Laura Bush, Barney and Ms. Beazley all at the same time.
