If Only Someone Could Pry the Story from Vegas’ Cold Dead Lips

A skeleton in the LGF closet, mayhaps??

Coulpla guesses: kumquat mayonnaise, the backroom at the Frontier, Richard Dawson, poprocks.

What in the WORLD???

DOUBLE UPDATE!!!!!

I can’t believe we got the redirect. Chazmo does not want the world to know what he was doing inside the TV show Rockford Files in Las Vegas.

  • I like to think that Charles Johnson will be condemned to eternity inside a glass cube about he size of a small office in a dark black room. He will spend it with some of his nuttiest supporters and a suicide bomber who is only visible to him, all crammed in together. Hundreds of those flashing “you are an idiot” things will be running across the walls, floor, and ceiling in a constant loop.

    Yes, that should do it.

  • we reject any affiliation with a Charles Johnson.

  • that is just awesome.

What I think LGF is hiding is that “Charles Johnson” is not his real name!!!!! and in fact, he came up with the pseudonym WHILE WATCHING ROCKFORd FILES.

it would be irresponsible not to speculate.

  • I think that Charles Johnson is likely quite smart to have come up with such an intelligent plan, K!

  • Tiny Footballs, so unkind,
Tiny Footballs, make the whole world blind.

  • Stupid hulu.

  • I’m pretty sure Charles Johnson is his porn name.

  • I like to hang out at blogs that link to LGF just so I can see the redirect because I like to dance.

  • I caught myself singing it in the kitchen the other day. I kind of love it.

  • I’ve actually seen this episode. I think it was the one with a car chase … and Rockford getting beaten up.

  • Hey, now that you mention it, so have I.

  • DeN, no this is the one where he gets conked on the head, but also tricks the guy following him.

  • Also, I’m pretty sure earlier or later in this episode Rockford romances a lady and they fall for his no-nonsense, sansabelt charm.

The sad thing is that I think I have actually seen EVERY episode of the Rockford Files ever made. Thanks to the magic of TiVo, WGN, and living by myself for a year I managed to go through the whole series.

Unfortunately WGN edited out some stuff to fit more commercials in so I didn’t actually see ALL of every episode so I’ll have to watch them all again as they get put up on teh hulus.

You’ll see them reuse the fancy medieval themed restaurant set on numerous occasions (even one of the great episodes guest starring Isaac Hayes as former prison-mate Gandy).
