Don’t worry uncanny PP said I looked like Dame Edna dressed as a vampire goth girl. If you read the comments on our Holloween party I WAS NOT going for the look of guy, dressed in drag as goth girl.
No, it’s much better than any genetics mishap costume. Though that could be interesting and perhaps and idea for next year.
I am still waiting for the photo from my friend. Of course UC has the final say if I may send it, but I hope he’ll permit me because you’ve got to see it to believe it. I will give you one hint as you wait in suspense: think the opposite of an opera singer.

I should provide some history here: the party is an annual tradition of friends of mine. It’s always a hat party. Since we did not have time to paper mache what we really wanted to do, we agreed to spend no more than $10.
A brief visit to the Dollar Store (an event that led UC to sleep with one eye open that night) lent us $7 of solid stuff! I decided to go as a Christmas tree, complete with two star toppers as my head band boppers. Given my Jewish status, I had the prize until Dan, the Ultimate Frisbee friend, showed with his hat as LaGuardia landing strip. It was complete with a Fisher Price plane and lit up landing strip. He rocked! He even wore an employee badge and safety vest.
You will be delighted to know that I won back my prize by guessing the travel trivia in one of the party games.
UC looked good, if only we had more time, we could have had more fun with his look.
Next year I am thinking he should go as a genetics mishap. Though, after hearing about the naked polar bear swim planned with these friends for Thanksgiving (a story for another blog and another time), I am thinking he will be in too much shell shock to represent at their home ever again.

That’s surprisingly close. What AG hasn’t told anyone is that there are two pictures out there, one with the Uncannies together and one with just myself. I think if there is picture sharing to be done, it should be an equal opportunity moment of shame. The solo picture can be reserved for in-person viewing only.
