One thing about traveling to the heartland and being computer minus (science term) is that your reintroduction to the horrible and constantly degrading world of the world is via CNN Airport channel. I know that doesn’t exist anymore, but I prefer to think of the bastardized and neutered CNN as CNN Airport channel, because it is like the Tab cola of news networks, whereas Fox is strychnine-laced Tab. Anyhoo, all the fusseroo was about the Justice Dept. opening an investigo into the NSA-story leaker. They were doing an awesome job of creating the false analogy with another leak, the Plame leak. It was enough to almost put me off my Popeyes chicken (DFW!). I said almost. Since all things leaky are apparently equivalent, Willy Brim’s problem bladder best keep a low profile, because Daryn Kagan is gonna take a porfessional interest, and she is somewhat of an aficianado.
We had Popeye’s from DFW and UC claimed it was “push”. So sad.
it used to be that cnn international used to be better, but now from my secret tequila-soaked hellhole i can see that no longer holds true.
sadly, they seem to have taken the BBC service down a notch too. but at least they talk about other countries here.

Atlanta aiport Popeye’s is better than DFW, but I would NEVER go so far as to say push for DFW. UC probably got mild, and probably did NOT have honey with the chicken. *sigh*

Minnie has jack. What the lame NWA club room in the center with Chili’s in front?! DTW is so much better. NWA went crazy there. BOS also opened the new terminal A. And SEA? OMG! They have moved into the 1980s now. EWR is still off the hook over doing it and we can only hope that LGA spruces up the place someday.

I sacked out in SFO, it felt like I was 15 again and asleep under some benches in Brussels. DeGaul in PAris still remains my all time shiitake-est experience, even above Warsaw, Bucharest and Ndjili airport in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
