We’ve been saved by an obscene amount of rain this spring- not expected. Only 1 fully dead tree, two half dead. And now we will have 1 billion mosquitoes. Hopefully we’ll have some nice flitterbys, but a lot of the flowers are deadzoes, so we’ll need to plant a few things.

BG- I think The Shining was scarier for me as a book because my mind could go to places that were crazier than the screen could show. That movie always seemed a bit tongue-in-cheek to me. Don’t get me wrong, it was still messed up, but the book… I will never forget my sister being so pissed at me because I would NOT turn off the closet light. Never mind that I was probably 18 or 19 when I read it.

I put the book and movie on about the same scare footing, but there’s a scene with the topiary animals in the book that scared the hell out of me as a teenager.
I recommend not paying any JP Morgan or Chase bills until they can Dimon. If they can afford that cheese-testicle losing 3-5 billion, they can go without your payments.
